Philippines, Bravo! fashion show

  MANILA, Philippines - The "Filipina, Bravo!" exhibit gets a fitting fashion finale as the Ayala group of companies features prominent and most influential female fashion stalwarts who shape the understanding of fashion as Filipinas appreciate it today.

Bea Zobel Jr. and Sofia Zobel-Elizalde, both advocates and champions of the distinct talent and ingenuity of Filipino fashion designers, are collaborating with fashion designer Inno Sotto who serves as the show's creative director.

Claude Biguine launches in Juhu, Mumbai

Europe's leading name in hair and beauty industry, Jean-Claude Biguine, is now available for the chic Mumbaikars too! The French Salon was launched at Kemps Corner, Mumbai, on Thursday.

Renowed designers Lecoanet Hemant and Elle were present to celebrate Biguine's sprawling new venture, amidst all the glitz, glamour and oomph.  Fashion designers Lecoanet Hemant even put-up a show with a collection titled 'Green', while Biguine experts showcased latest hairstyle and make-up trends, presenting an impeccable blend of fashion and beauty.

The unique mélange, as the models strutted around in the earthy feel of the collection and French stylists at Biguine derived inspiration from the designers' collection and presented chic, casual and dramatic looks in various sections, was well appreciated by those attending the event.

Dubai Fashion Week 2010

Dubai fashion week Nov, 2010 recently ended, and it ended same as usual. It was horrible, dreadful, atrocious, horrific. And lot of new aspects was introduced in the fashion show.

The fashion show director Marc Robinson he is very professional and takes his job seriously. And the event director, Rohit Sabikhi, has a background of six years working on Lakme Fashion Week in India.

This year DFW was supposedly under a NEW PR company. More then 300 buyers from around the world watched the show and international fashion bloggers, popular papers such as the International Herald, the Sunday Times, the New York Times 

The fees for designers to participate in the shows was increased. There are different tariffs depending on the timing of the shows for example, the tariff for a 2pm show is $7,000 while for a 9:30pm show, we charge $16,500. The grand finale is completely different(Translation : $30,000), which is a sponsorship of the event.

Crimson's fashion show in Chennai

Crimson 's line of clothing and accessories ca n't be bought off the hangers . A fashion stylist will record your measurements , the occasion and color preference . You will get advice , choices , and after your nod , your outfit . Which means , what you walk out with is , perhaps , just the only piece around the only piece around xEOL . xBL . Watching Crimson 's owner-cum-stylist Geetha Solaraj 's creations at the Avatar-in-Africa-themed fashion show during the store 's launch at Adyar , you wanted to throw yourself at the stylist 's hands .


Modelled to Lavanya Iyer 's choreography , the creations were temptations in chiffon with sparkling embellishment chiffon with sparkling embellishment xEOL . xBL . There were short dresses -- some gathered at the shoulder , some off-shoulder , others with short sleeves ; layered and plain skirts , tops with high and the now-preferred flared and floppy collars , thick with embroidery ; two-piece dresses ; trousers with a chest-band for a top ; lovely , flared three-fourth pants with a band of zari to set them off ; evening dresses with an embroidered front .
